Lighthouse

The weather today was warm but overcast with some break in the clouds on several occasions. This is the Lighthouse situated on the beach @ Talacre. Point of Ayr lighthouse stands on the beach near Talacre. Built in 1776, and inactive since 1883, this brick tower of 18 metres is surrounded by water at high tide. Maintained by Flintshire County Council.

This is one of many pics taken but this was the best of the bunch taken at 2 o’clock today.
