Today Carmen and I took a trip to the red squirrel reserve @ Formby. Not many squirrels to see and this was the reason why
“Visitors intending to visit the Formby reserve from now onwards should be aware that, whilst there are still healthy red squirrels within the woodlands, the chances of seeing them are much reduced.
Meanwhile, National Trust staff and volunteers are working hard to locate sick red squirrels and get them to veterinary assessment and care. This is important to reduce the risk of further spread of the disease.”

Although it was taken at 13:37 it was the only one we saw quite close all day.
