I started this site to hopefully get me out and about walking more than I have been of late and to increase my awareness of my surroundings. Hopefully as time goes by my photographic skills will have improved along with my ability to walk for miles and miles……………
The url of 2oclock.co.uk comes from the fact that the number 2 seems to be a number that i see almost all the time in my life. To be more precise the figure is 22 ( see below ) but to call the site 22oclock and intend to take a photo at 22:00 hours would have meant having to be sober at this time of an evening and come winter the images may not have been of much interest, having all been taken at night time so i decided on 2oclock.co.uk and then at least whilst i may have been sat at the computer from lunch time at around 2oclock i would have to be out and about.

The idea is that @ 14:00 hours everday no matter where I am or what I maybe doing I will attempt to take a photograph and post it for the world to view.

the figure 22:
when every i seem to look at the clock of an evening wheather it be the video,digibox or the computer the time seems to always be 22:22 ( 22 mins past 10pm ) and this has been happening for years.
Last year I had a heart-attack on the 22nd June.
In hospital the number for cardiac arrests is 2222
i had a triple by-pass on the 19th April 2008 was in ITU and my first real day for walking up and down stairs in Alexander Hospital was on the 22nd April 2008
when i first registered my email the first option i was given was to add 22 after my name
If ever i sell my images I will only sell 22 of each canvas print.
