These signs are upon the winterhill and are a warning to stay away when real cold. The mast up here is supported by huge guide ropes ( steel ) and when the weather is cold (which it often is up here on the hill) ice forms on the steel structure and can fall.

Nothing appealing today due to me being in the kitchen making Moussaka. Not a true moussaka but my take on the dish.
fried mincemeat, onion, carrot and mushroom.

Today was another cold day here in Horwich Bolton but after wrapping up I took the high road again to the pigeon tower up on Rivington moors. This is the view from halfway looking west -ish.taken at 2 oclock
